“My girls have been learning so many different techniques of art through David! Within a short space of time. I can see how it has opened their eyes in drawing and exploring different textures, applications, use of colours etc ... Anyone in the family can do it! You can progress through the lessons at your own pace ! It’s so rewarding and therapeutic for us all! We look forward to his lessons! We see beauty in every piece of art!”

Why is studying Art important?
Art has been a part of our human history since time began. Our stories were told through art, and will always be told by art. Learning and enabling understanding of art can enhance our minds and contributions to high culture in the future. Studying art is an investment into mankind’s story, past, present, and future.

Our Student Work

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” ~ Pablo Picasso
Why Art from the Start?
Build
We aim to build life long confidence and instil positive building blocks within our students. Enriching our students with understanding high culture, with the ability to analyse, scrutinise and comment.
Guidance
We provide guidance in the form of unique and tailored feedback that will help our students grow their skill sets and capabilities. We encourage sending work in to be assessed and commented on as was the method for centuries.
Growth
Our programme is designed as a long road to growth. The true fruits of our lessons will be seen after many many months. We encourage parents to have a 30,000 ft view and allow ample time for growth.
Art lessons can be therapeutic, they help to stop overthinking and focusing on the Art itself. Our lessons are very calm and slow-paced so it is easy to unwind, learn and focus on Art. We have children flourish from our lessons who are Autistic, have suffered from traumas, or have been stressed over academic pressures.
Art is one of the best ways to unwind, and we build behaviours and paths to therapy through unlocking God gifted talents from within.

Art Competitions
Every so often we have a great opportunity to participate in competitions. Competitions allow us to put skills and techniques we have learnt in our Art classes.
Competitions can be fun and are completely voluntary to join, David will mentor and guide with feedback through the process ensuring you present the best work you can.
Many of the greatest artists participated in competitions, many lost and many won, but we believe it isn’t the winning that counts - as many famous Artists were misunderstood before their time. Competitions bring out the best in our skills and push us to new heights.
